New Barrels From Nashville|
A name that needs no introduction on Seelbach's is Nashville Barrel Company. We've selected barrels from them for nearly three years. They're an Independent Bottler focused on MGP barrels. That was until about 6-months ago when they launched their Nashtucky lineup. Nashtucky is a way to highight Kentucky barrels. As well as barrels that don't exactly fit in the MGP flavor profile.
Today, we have an 8-year cask strength bourbon from Kentucky and a 7-year Indiana rye. I'm still a little unsure of the Kentucky source. I've heard some rumors about some other distilleries. Either way I can't figure out why it takes and Independent Bottler to release 8-year, cask strength, delicious bourbon. You would think the Distiller would see the success and run with it. Either way, this is why I love brands like Nashville Barrel Co.
