Two Single Barrels from Award Winning Augusta Distillery

Not 36 hours after winning Best Overall Bourbon and Best Single Barrel Bourbon in the 11 Years and Older category in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the crew at Augusta Distillery welcomed us in for our next round of barrel picks... but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
We saved our final hazmat Buckner's 13 for a special occasion, and after this last weekend we'd say that's quite a reason to celebrate. This barrel should go fast, but fret not - we still have a handful of our 135 proof pick remaining as well.
We'll have more stories to share from Augusta Distillery in the near future, but for now here's a clip from our visit with the team earlier this week recapping their recent wins.

The precise mash recipe would be canonized, and the Ohio River would become the vehicle to advance the popularity of this uniquely Kentucky spirit. Today, the waterfront remains a defining attribute of our charming river town as the Augusta Distillery proudly occupies one of the historical first stops on the original Bourbon Trail.
