K. Luke Returns with Barrel Strength Batch 5|
K. Luke has had quite the year - from Fred Minnick's high praise on his Top 100 bottles of 2022 list to now slowly being talked about in what seems like every bourbon enthusiasts circle, Jonathan and Jennifer Maisano are blending some fantastic whiskey. In the ASCOT awards for Bourbon of the Year, Batch 2 came in third place only losing to EH. Taylor and Parker's Heritage (not a bad showing for a non-legacy brand.)
When we asked Jonathan his inspiration to blending he responded, "I'm a big fan of Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch, so that is the inspiration behind my blending style. I can achieve a similar style by sourcing from several different distilleries in the two states (Kentucky & Indiana) with different high or low rye mash bills and ages.
Every batch we've tried to increase for the demand we are seeing for this product, so hopefully plenty of you have a little time to decide if you want to give Batch 5 a try.
About: After tasting thousands of barrels over the past decade owners Jonathan and Jennifer Maisano decided it was time to create their own brand to share their love of whiskey and family with you. K.LUKE is a tribute to both of their children Kaitlyn and Lucas, please enjoy this Bourbon with Family and Friends as much as they do.
