Our first two NuLu barrels were a great success. We noticed that toasted seemed to be everyone's favorite. Because of that we really doubled down this time! We have a toasted rye barrel that is like a Christmas cookie in a bottle. Lots of spice and toasty notes backed up by wintergreen mint. The bourbon blend is just a flavor bomb. It starts sweeter on the nose. I gets a little drier on the palate but really evolves in the glass. Sweet notes are replaced by dry citrus and tobacco the longer is sits and opens up.
