Rare Character Whiskey Selected by Seelbach's

Barrels will be released one per day starting with "Corn" today. We will release "Rye" Thursday (5/26) and "Barley" on Friday (5/27) at 2 PM EST.

The Rare Character Origins Series is a collection of three single barrels selected by Seelbach's. Each barrel is designated with a grain, and artwork, we felt that barrel best represented. All three barrels (Corn/Rye/Malted Barley) make up the mash bill for this bourbon. I first tried these barrel 5-years 7-months and knew they were special. The barrels could have easily been bottled at that time. However, we decided to let them hit the 6-year mark. We're excited to add something new and different to the Selected by Seelbach's collection. I think you'll really enjoy these barrels!

Few whiskey brands have come as highly recommended to me as Rare Character. A friend of mine, who's whiskey knowledge I trust, introduced me to Pablo Moix. He basically said "buy whatever you can before the brand blows up". Pablo is an industry veteran with deep connections in the whiskey world.
