Chattanooga Whiskey has long been known for their experimental releases. They've dedicated a seperate distillery location for testing new products and finishes. Chatt Whiskey's flagship products already push the boundaries of bourbon with their Tennessee High Malt mash bills. The experimentail releases take it one step further. And that is why we love them at Seelbach's. Today we have Experimental Batch 026 & 027. Batch 026 is a bourbon Barreled Gin. Batch 027 (my favorite) is a high malt bourbon finished in Moscatel and Sauternes wine barrels. If you started to google "moscatel" you're not alone. This varietal sherry adds an incredible note of white raisins.
