Introducing Frey Ranch Distillery Bourbon

In the craft whiskey world, I'm looking for three things. A dedication to the grains/farm, good product design, and (most importantly) great taste. It can sometimes be difficult to find new distillers that score high in all three categories. That's why when I heard about Frey Ranch's single estate bourbon I was a little skeptical. Luckily, it came highly recommended from a well-respected master distiller. Then I tasted it for myself and it was fantastic. The winter wheat adds a creaminess to the mouthfeel. There's enough pepper and oak to round it out nicely.

Mash Bill: non-GMO corn, winter cereal rye, winter wheat, and two-row barley

My journey starts with the love of growing grains in a sustainable way here on the ranch – over 2,000 acres in the Sierra Nevada Watershed. Every time I step onto the land I can feel the generations before me. I’ve tilled the soil, planted the seed, and grown the grains specifically for making a bourbon unlike any other – born from 165 years of our family farming tradition every single aspect of this whiskey was crafted on Frey Ranch.
