Chattanooga Whiskey Craft Producer of 2023
|Some awards are more accurate than others. We don't dig too deep into awards and ratings at Seelbach's. Taste is a subjective thing. But, everything now and then we feel like someone gets it right! American Whiskey Magazine named Chattanooga Whiskey the Craft Producer of the Year. I couldn't agree more. Since, 2012 the Chattanooga team has fought antiquated alcohol laws, built a brand and innovated with their Tennessee High Malt Whiskey. They continue to push the boundaries with experimental finishes and mash bills. At the same time, their core lineup of 91, 111 & Rye remains consistently tasty. Because of that, we wanted to highlight them for win last week.
What is Tennessee High Malt? Chattanooga's malt-forward approach to whiskey is made from a variety of at least 25% specialty malted grains. Each mash bill - or blend of mash bills - is crafted to highlight the range, depth, and complexity of our Tennessee High Malt style.
