Lucky Seven is back with a brand new offering. Lucky Seven embraces cinema themed bottle design and story. They've released fantastic bourbon over the years. Initially, they made a name with their 14-year single barrels. As well as some well-aged small batch releases. The Workhorse is a different animal. And I love that! The flavor is rich, sweet and a touch of spice. It packs a punch even below 100 proof. More important is the price. At $55 I don't feel bad pulling this bottle out throughout the week. I'm assuming this is the meaning behind the name "workhorse". But, it's a great addition to an already stellar lineup at Lucky Seven.
And for those special occasions I still have a bottle of Holiday Toast hiding in the back of my bar.
