Mash bill: 25% Bloody Butcher Corn, 25% Heirloom White Corn, 25% Bruce’s Blue Corn, 20% Malted Rye, 5% Malted Barley

Tasting Notes: 

Nose: complex balance of vanilla, apple, pear, and baking spice with bright undertones of citrus and sweet oak.

Palate: opens to a rich buttery caramel with toasted pecans and hints of tobacco and citrus.

Finish: a rich finish of caramel flowing into hints of buttered toast, white pepper corn, and allspice.

About the product: Our Red, White and Blue mash bill commemorates the devotion of our veterans to our great nation. We've brought together our Bloody Butcher Corn, our Bruce's Blue corn, and an Heirloom White corn with Malted Rye and Malted Barley for a spirit that's full of character. A portion of the proceeds of each bottle is donated to a veteran charity.

What we don’t produce ourselves, we get from other farms in the area so we can do our part to support local agriculture. These are things that have been ingrained into our family’s way of doing things for centuries—and will continue to be as we grow and expand. Since its inception, Jeptha Creed has been proud to serve its customers unmatched spirits and unforgettable experiences. With an unwavering commitment to honoring our heritage, we make old fashion new by giving it just a little kick.

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
