Tasting Notes:
The nose shows all the sweet characteristics from all the ex-bourbon cask influences. Salted caramel, Angel food cake, custard-like sweetness emanates from the nose with just a touch of pleasant baking spices and florality.
The palate is vibrant: sugar coated fruits of all types are on display. Plum, peach, baked apple pie, honeydew melon, raspberry, candy snap grapes. The finish trails with a chocolate mousse and lightly tingles the sides of the mouth with baking spices and orange oil as it fades.
The finish is long and clinging, spices balancing out the sweet and rich fruits that started.
