Seelbach's Celebrates Two Years

Two years ago I officially launched Seelbach's. This was a passion project. The idea grew from the great craft distilleries  I discovered while writing Bourbonr. Now, two years later, it's incredible to see the number of great products popping up.  None of this would matter without great customers! Thank you to everyone that has purchased from us over the last two years. It's incredible to receive emails from people that have taken a risk to try a new distillery and loved the product. There have been plenty of bumps along the way. But, I truly appreciate everyone that has supported Seelbach's!

With that, I'm happy to introduce our most recent barrel pick. This is a Barrell Craft Spirits Private Release Whiskey that was finished in a Sicilian Amaro barrel. As an extra thank you, we're including a Seelbach's pin with each bottle. You can see the full details of the bottle below.

Proof: 116.04 proof

Age: Blend of 18-year Kentucky whiskey with small amounts of Kentucky Corn Whiskey, Kentucky Bourbon, and Kentucky Rye

Finishing Barrel: Sicilian Amaro

Bottle size: 750 ml

Tasting Notes: Nose is floral and sweeter fruit notes. The pallet is golden raisin, honeydew, and pepper. It's complex and continues to evolve in the glass. The finish is extremely long. There are incredible herbal and white tea notes. Even 5 minutes later the finish lingers green tea and cantaloupe sherbert (strange note, but that's what I get).
