Today, we officially launch our Seelbach's app! This has been a long time coming and we're thrilled with how it turned out. The app provides the fastest checkout and the best way to stay up to date on new releases. Because of that, we're doing our first app exclusive release today at 3 PM EDT. In September of 2021 we ran out of glass for Batch 002. I kind of forgot there was additional whiskey left. Thankfully, my bottler was also out of totes and decided to throw the blend into a used Bourbon barrel. And there it sat for the next 12-months. A couple of months ago I decided to check in on this barrel. I was blown away by the complexity of the whiskey. Since this is technically just a remix on batch 002 we named it 2.X.
Lastly, Seelbach's Batch 003 has started to ship. If you haven't received tracking already, expect it today or tomorrow.

Tasting Notes: Christmas spice and toasted marshmallows. It's a buttered pastry with Nutella. The palate is warm with more spice and toffee. It's complex and changes gradually with each sip. Lots of vanilla and dried cherry. The finish is long. It's waffles with cinnamon maple syrup.
