Quest's End Rogue
|Last year we were introduced to Find Familiar Spirits, and their Quest's End line of whiskeys and accompanying fantasy saga, Dawn of the Unbound Gods. The brainchild of celebrity actor/gaming entrepreneur Matthew Lillard, screenwriter Justin Ware, and Blue Run Spirits co-founder Tim Sparapani, Find Familiar Spirits combines the storytelling acumen and influence of Hollywood with award-winning spirits craftsmanship and the muscle of Chicago marketing. For Quest’s End, they were lucky enough to add unassailable fantasy cred and world-creating genius in the form of Art Director/Illustrator Tyler Jacobson and Content Director/Writer Kate Welch.
Find Familiar Spirits is thrilled to announce their second whiskey in the series made by and for fans of fantasy and gaming: Quest's End Rogue. In January, I got to sit down with their Master Blender, Ale Ochoa, to sort through the last round of blending. What's interesting is the story this whiskey tells. The three blends were all tasty. To try them individual, there would've been zero complaints. But, we have a blend that started subtle with notes of toffee and caramel and finished with a pop of spice. It also drank far below its 98.3 proof. Because of that, this blend was selected as the winner!
This is a pre-order. Estimated Shipping in 4-6 weeks.
As with Paladin, the flavor profile of Quest’s End Rogue was selected and blended to match the eponymous character of this release: in this case, Yuwe, the White Spider, the mysterious snow elf at the center of chapter two of Dawn of the Unbound Gods, our original fantasy story written by Kate Welch with all-new art by Tyler Jacobson.
Hand-selected from small-batch Kentucky and Indiana 4+ year aged bourbons by our Master Blender Ale Ochoa, Quest’s End Rogue boasts rich notes of vanilla alongside bright baked apple/jammy fruit and cooling herbaceous notes to create a balanced aroma and finish. Like Yuwe, it’s smooth, elegant, and cool – and also like Yuwe, you’d better move fast to catch it.
In addition, we will also be offering up a very small number of new High Roller Guild Memberships during this sale. We set aside 200 bottles of original Paladin so those who came to the party late wouldn’t be left out, and this mini-stash (plus an equally small number we’re setting aside for Warlock) will be your only chance to get the full set. You can read more about the High Rollers Guild below.
