Their grain-forward style whiskeys are made with the highest quality corn and heirloom wheat, barley, and rye grown by two Colorado family farms - the Cody’s in the San Luis Valley and the Ohnmacht’s out on Colorado’s eastern plains. We are excited to have our own little taste of Colorado with this Laws Four Grain Single Barrel.
The nose is buttercream and citrus, while transitioning to slightly smoky black tea, honey, cinnamon and vanilla custard on nose and palate.
The palate continues to bring baking spice and tobacco, along with trailing caramel and hot honey.
The finish is long with creamy mousse-like mouthfeel, dark chocolate and toffee.
