Today, we have two special releases from Bardstown Bourbon Co (BBC). In the past, BBC has been exceptional in their blending and finishing skills. That momentum continues into this next round of releases. Discovery 9 blends whiskey from KY, TN, GA & CA. It somehow creates a flavor profile that tastes like vanilla custard with Chocolate shavings. The Bardstown Bourbon West Virginia Great Barrel Co. collaboration may be their most important collaboration to date. WVGBCo. has flown under the radar for most bourbon drinkers. However, their contributions quality and technological improvements from a cooperage have been immense. They're a state-of-the-art cooperage making whiskey barrels in White Sulphur Springs, WV. The company started as a way to bring economic impact to the region. It just so happened that they were sitting on some of the best hardwood in the country.
