Tasting Notes: A bold flavored unaged rum with notes of pineapple and bruised banana, as well as a backbone of cinnamon and mint. It creates a luscious mouth-feel, slightly cooling and subtly sweet with notes of crisp lemongrass and lime. The finish lends subtle hints of spice, smoke, forest and pine.
About the Product: Roulaison Distilling's rum embodies the rich history of New Orleans and celebrates the role the city played in shaping their local rum culture. Taking inspiration from many of the rum traditions around the world, in particular with Jamaican and Haitian style rums, Roulaison uses only alembic pot stills and a 100% Louisiana molasses that comes straight from the mill. A blend of both Belgian and wild strains fermented for 7-10 days, the distillates are rested in stainless steel prior to blending and bottling.
Made without carbon or chill filtration and without added coloring, flavoring, or blending materials.
