Proof: 91.8 proof

Source: Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished with Toasted French Oak Staves

Size: 375 ml

About the product: Fathertime is a Kentucky bourbon from comedian Jim Gaffigan. Twins is a special Winter 2025 edition, only available in 375mL and limited to only 1200 bottles (each of which is individually numbered).

Twins are a rare occurrence – just like this very limited edition double oaked Fathertime bourbon. This “Toasted French Oak Finish" batch was conceived from Second Child Syndrome, but like any twin, this expression is uniquely its own. It also may thus far be the most complex member of the Fathertime family.

Twins marks Jim’s first foray into a secondary finished bourbon – it’s half the size, and double the oak. A small batch of Second Child Syndrome was set aside for this experimental series, in which high spice staves of toasted french oak were added to unlock stand-out flavors within the bourbon. This double oak process intensifies fruit perception with notes of clove and nutmeg, adding complex spice character and a unique Fathertime bourbon experience.

Jim fell in love with bourbon after he and his wife Jeannie learned an occasional drink provided a momentary break from parenting teenagers. If you have children, you understand.

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
