Tasting notes: Rich and saturating, the nose leads with warming french oak-esque spices, toasted vanilla, mixed berry compote, and charred oak.
The palate is intensely flavorful - deep and spiced and jammy, but not without heavy layers of charred oak. Toasted chocolate, black pepper and allspice, torched orange peel, and plenty of dark fruits, leather, and sticky caramel continuing on.
The finish is dry and saturating with lots of dark fruits and dried red fruits coating, while spiced citrus notes, sweet tobacco and long lingering charred oak continue long and slightly smokey.
