Tasting Notes: Not all unfamiliar to the characteristics from the likes of Kings County, the nose is rich and robust for its 108 barrel proof, with huge fudge-like tones, dried figs, and molasses. Thick and sticky.
The palate is incredibly unique, especially if you go in with the mashbill in mind. Coating and fruity with a continuation of fig and black cherry on the front, with a rich, slow spiced molasses linger. Lots of coffee and chocolate come mid-palate, with continued pops of baked stone fruit and orchard fruits like torched pear and spiced apples.
The finish is zesty and creamy, continuing with well charred oak, chocolatey oak, and lingering fruit cocktail.
