ASW Distillery Fiddler Toasted Rye - Cask Strength

ASW Distillery Fiddler Toasted Rye - Cask Strength

Regular price $69.99 Sale

ABV/Proof: Varies

Finish: 6-months

Mash bill: 95% rye, 5% malted barley

Tasting Notes:

Elegant citrus, layered spices, toasted vanilla bean and gingerbread cookies.

Charred maple, barrel char, and classic citrus spice - this is everything you love about 95/5 with a bit more savory flare and a balanced flavor profile. There is plenty here to explore, but a toasted maple foundation keeps everything in check.

The linger is subtly juicy fruit, creamy oak-kissed brown sugar. This a perfectly composed toasted rye, highly recommended.

About the product: For Fiddler Toasted Rye, ASW finishes various rye whiskey mash bills – all at least 6 years old – in toasted barrels of varying toast levels and for varying times, after the first few years in new, charred white oak barrels of varying char levels. By varying the toast and amount of time in the toasted barrel, each batch enjoys its own unique flavor profile and packs all the flavor you want in a rye, with additional delicious notes for good measure. ASW lists all the pertinent details on a new custom label inset on the beautifully designed label. The first batch is a 95% rye, 5% malted barley mash bill from MGP.

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
