Tasting Notes: The nose hides the proof while hot honey, sweet cherries, freshly brewed sweet tea, and brown sugar all nicely dance around.
The palate is a beautiful bouquet of smoked butterscotch and luxardo cherries. Viscous, coating, very similar to what I love in Kelvin MGP barrels. The oak is deep, buried well in the pour and hugged with baking spices.
The finish is a long continued fade from of all the flavors from the palate, deep cherry, charred sugars, and deep herbally spiced oak.
Excellent flavors that don’t seem to ever want to leave.
