Tasting notes: The nose is on the sweeter side of a dance between sweet and spice - smelling like a sticky root beer float with softer silky chocolate mousse and brown sugar. Further in the glass you get notes of smoked wood and purple fruits.

The palate is rich and clinging with underlying granulated sugar moving toward fragrant cotton candy and cream soda. That vanilla creaminess we love in Kelvin barrels is on full display here, but continues to give up some accompanying pops of cherry, strawberry, and peachy syrup notes with plenty of brown sugar and lasting oak.

The finish is hard to separate from the palate, as the flavors from the palate meld seamlessly into a long finish - led by oak but then continuing with spiced leather, plenty of vanilla, and candied fruits.
