O.K.I Double Oaked Blended Bourbon Whiskey

Mash bill: 36% High Rye Bourbon, 21% Low Rye Bourbon, 95/5 Rye Whiskey, Light Whiskey

Tasting Notes: Light and creamy with notes of chocolate icing and custardy vanilla, reminiscent of a Boston Cream donut. Fruit isn’t the focus, but soft hints linger beneath, followed by seasoned, gently spiced oak and sweet leather.

A plush mouthfeel for its proof, offering great balance. Sugared stone fruits and bright citrus lead the way, followed by vanilla bean ice cream and delicate layers of honey with just the right amount of raspberry, leather, and oak.  

Long and trailing, showing seasoned oak depth without heaviness. Soft caramels linger, rounding out a graceful close with a touch of orange zest and a Madeleine-like buttery linger. 
 
The highlight of this pour is its balance. Easy-drinking yet mature, making it a dependable go-to.

About O.K.I. Spirits: Co-founders Chad Brizendine & Jake Warm are no strangers to whiskey. They first partnered when Chad led a team to create George Remus bourbon in 2013 before growing exponentially and ultimately being acquired by MGP. They once again teamed up when Jake led the acquisition of O.K.I. in 2020 and are excited to be launching their new Double Oaked Blended Bourbon.

Kings County Distillery
