About: Still Austin is one of the American whiskey makers we love to release. Their whiskey is distilled in Austin using Texas-grown grain. What makes it special is how they handle maturation in the Texas climate. Still Austin teamed up with legendary whiskey blender Nancy Fraley. They focus on careful barrel management and slow proofing. This method balances the strong flavors from Texas aging. The results have started speaking for themselves. Releases like Red Corn Bourbon and the Bottled-in-Bond series excite whiskey lovers. They show that Still Austin delivers the rich flavors Texas whiskey is famous for. Plus, the oak and heat don’t overpower the taste.

That's what made us particularly excited to dig through their single barrels. There’s an unmistakable Still Austin character. Barrels rich with dark fruit, caramelized sugar, chocolate, baking spice and concentrated oak. But, barrel to barrel, the whiskey can move in dramatically different directions.
