Distilled and Aged in Kentucky, bottled in Jacksonville, FL

Proof:  122.6 proof

Age: 15+ Years old

Source: Heritage Kentucky

Mash Bill: 75/13/12 Corn/Rye/Malted Barley

Bottle Count: 1303 bottles

Tasting Notes: The nose opens with loads of dried fruit and toffee. It's sweet and leathery. Notes of tobacco and figs continue with rich notes of dark caramel. There's a depth of flavor that I love. On the palate a slightly brighter fruit starts to shine through. Strawberry pie, orange marmalade and black tea are the initial notes on the palate.

The brighter note turn warm raisin bread and steamed pudding as it moves to the back palate. The addition of some older barrel to batch 002 flash here. It peaks with dried fruit as it moves to the memorable spicy notes. Even on the back palate there's still no hint of the 122.6 proof. The finish is long. oak spice, melon and more tea dance around.

The Story: Seelbach's is dedicated to 'unlocking craft spirits.' As a bespoke independent bottler, we embrace patience, waiting for that special whiskey to cross our path. That's precisely what occurred with this barrel-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon, aged for 15 years. This bottle remains uncut and unfinished, allowing elegance of aged whiskey to shine. Enjoy!

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
