The palate reminds me a lot of the things I loved about Four Gate’s Kelvin 60. Thick barrel char and dark leaning berries coating in toasted caramel sauce. There’s a perfuminess carried over from the nose that just gives this an extra je ne sais quoi. All the while there’s this musty oak note that pierces through.
The finish is plush and creamy with long lasting wood spice, creamy berry reduction, and beautiful charred oak.
