Tasting Notes: Rich and complex, this bourbon has aromas of butterscotch, caramel, toasted marshmallows, and vanilla cream on the nose, along with a whiff of just-peeled Granny Smith apples. The palate is silky and displays toffee, chocolate cake batter, and generous dashed baking spices. The finish leads with dried strawberries, and hints of sandalwood and pipe tobacco, before drying to minty oak.

Wilderness Trail uses the sweet mash process, rather than the more common sour mash
in making its whiskeys. It also practices a low barrel entry proof of 110 and this cask strength bourbon is 103 proof. The mash bill is 64% corn, 24% wheat, and 12% malted barley.
