Whiskey Del Bac Dorado American Single Malt Whiskey

Whiskey Del Bac Dorado American Single Malt Whiskey

Regular price $59.99 Sale

ABV/Proof: 46% | 92 Proof

Tasting Notes: The nose is heavy chocolate, oak, and tobacco.

Think of the palate as a beautiful blend of peated Scotches and heavily toasted or double oaked bourbons. Big campfire vibes up front yet pulls back to creamy vanilla and toffee notes.

The finish trails thick with chocolatey and heavily toasted oak. that said, it leaves you with a kiss of vanilla sweetness trailing before a long and smokey finish.

About the Product: The one that inspired it all. Whiskey Del Bac Dorado is an American Single Malt whiskey with the true character of the American Southwest. Using the Scottish model of whisky-making, Dorado is made from 100% barley that is malted and smoked over a velvet mesquite fire, mashed, fermented, copper pot distilled, aged in the desert, and bottled on site. It is one of only a handful of American Single Malts that uses velvet mesquite in the US.

Dorado is never sourced and never chill-filtered. Given a 90 Point rating by Whisky Advocate, Dorado has a nose of tobacco and chocolate, giving way to campfire embers, and finishing with soft tannins and sweet toffee on the palate.
