Nose: Strong caramel and maple notes

WHAT IS AN INFINITY BLEND?

As explained by Quest’s End Master Blender Molly Troupe, an infinity blend is modeled on an infinity bottle, a magical concoction often made at home. In an infinity bottle, the last bit of a whiskey is added to another bottle and replenished with different offerings over time, a concept similar to a solera finish, where spirits are combined and drawn off but the vessel is never fully emptied. Theoretically, if you've been vatting for a hundred years, some liquid remaining could be a century old (an eyeblink for a dragon, but impressive for a whiskey)

Since they didn't have a hundred years, Quest’s End used fractional blending, taking small amounts from barrels used in other releases and combining them to achieve a complex and vibrant flavor. The blend was then finished in oak staves, resulting in a whiskey with wonderful layers of caramel and maple on the nose plus toasted oats, amaretto, and a hint of honeycomb on the palate.
