Tasting Notes: Warm, sweet oak, Tobacco, aged oolong tea and orange zest. As the glass sits notes of maple and bright cherry begin to develop. The palate has the same wonderful fruit and brightness from the nose. Blackberry, Bischoff cookies, and honeysuckle. The oak is integrated nicely as it amplifies the sweet and slightly herbal notes. The finish is long! Honeydew, pipe tobacco and black tea linger for minutes after the sip. Rich and delicious this pour closes out with a bang!

Tasting Notes: Sweet vanilla opens the nose alongside a sweep of orchard fruits. Stewed green apples move into crisp red apple and even a juicy peach, with black raspberry and a soft hint of leather lingering on.

The palate is full and coating, with leather surprisingly arriving first. A twist of caramel and barrel char follows before it settles into cooked fruits, a touch of allspice, candied lemon, brown sugar, and plenty of sweet oak.

The finish is a blend of spice-caressed toffee and cocoa powder, with raspberry and sweet oak continuing through a creamy lemon meringue note that lingers the longest.

Tasting Notes: The nose is rich and powerful with mature sweet oak, baked blackberry cobbler, and dried spiced cherries. Underneath, waves of vanilla cream soda and cocoa mingle with a hint of mulled wine and caramelized toffee.

The palate strikes a confident balance between powerhouse oak and vivid fruit. Brandied cherries and char-kissed Granny Smith apple come wrapped in warming spice. The double-oak influence deepens with each sip, shifting from toasted marshmallow sweetness to polished wood and cigar-box warmth.

The finish is assertive and unhurried. Ribbons of blackberry jam, brown-butter toffee, and dark chocolate roll over toasted fruit from the palate. It lingers with a satisfying grip that reminds you exactly why this bourbon wears its double-oak proudly.

Tasting Notes: The nose starts fresh with white pepper, almonds, vanilla bean and turbinado sugar. It doesn’t tip off the maple finish initially. The nose begins to open up with some light spice, chocolate Cherries and hints of maple fudge. The palate is a sticky bun. Molasses, fresh baked bread and pecans. It’s thick and delightful. Almost addictive as each sip has me returning for more of the sweetness! The back palate brings a pop of leather and black pepper. A nice balance to the front palate. The finish is medium as the black pepper and sweetness dissipate.

Tasting Notes: The nose is soft with notes of berries and cream with a bit of spice. Toasted orange peel provides a nice citrus note which is followed by rosemary and green apple. The palate echoes the fruit from the nose. Tangerine and cinnamon sticks on the mid-palate. This moves to dried orange peel, oak and a fresh herbal note on the back palate. What I love is that the rye is centered around center notes with the herbal and spice bringing complexity!

Tasting Notes: Roasted peaches topped with fresh whipped cream. This whiskey is a rich combination of sweetness and spice. It highlights the softness of a wheated bourbon with enough spice to add structure. Dried cherries and caramel bounce on the palate. These notes lead to baking spice and pecans  lingering on the back palate. The finish is a nice roundup from the nose and palate as notes of strawberry, toasted almonds and vanilla bean ice cream start to fade.
