We kick off June with a release that feels right at home here in the South! St. Augustine Distillery has become one of the most awarded and innovative craft spirits producers in the Southeast, and their latest release brings together two distinct whiskey worlds.

Established in 2013, St. Augustine Distillery is part of the new generation of American craft distillers. Family owned and operated, they work closely with farming partners throughout Florida to make whiskey rooted in local agriculture, while continuing to push the conversation around what craft spirits from the Southeast can be.

Today, we’re excited to introduce Florida Colonel, the second collaboration between musician JJ Grey and St. Augustine Distillery.

This release bridges Southern roots and Kentucky heritage by blending carefully selected barrels of straight bourbon sourced from Kentucky with bourbon distilled and aged in-house in St. Augustine, Florida. The final blend is then married and bottled by St. Augustine Distillery.

Bottled at a commanding 116.4 proof, Florida Colonel is robust, full-bodied, and built with intention. Expect a bold, warm profile with layered depth and a long, satisfying finish.

More than just a collaboration bottle, Florida Colonel is a meeting of worlds: a hands-on blending effort, a celebration of Southern spirit, and another strong example of St. Augustine’s place in the modern craft whiskey conversation.
