Nashtucky Single Barrel Bourbons

Nastucky is a collaboration project from Nashville Barrel Co. Their single barrels are sourced and then aged in Nashville. This is one of the first Nashtucky private barrels to land outside of Tennessee. Our first barrel is a 9-year, cask strength, Kentucky Bourbon. That's probably all you need to know there to be interested. At 121 proof it still drinks like a caramel bomb. We're limiting the 9-year to 1 bottle per person. We also have a 6-year, Indiana Bourbon that's one of the more unique profiles I've had in a while. I kept adding a note of fresh ground pepper but not black pepper to my review. Finally, I reviewed Dee's tasting notes and they included "paprika". That was it! It's an unusual note and I'm not sure I've gotten it on a whiskey before.
