Today, we go a little off of the beaten path. The Colorado distilling scene has grown to have some fantastic offerings. However, most of the products I love from Colorado aren't bourbon. When the team at Breaking Bourbon told me about a barrel they were selecting I was interested. I love the addition of chocolate malt to a bourbon. High proof and 4+ years old always helps. When I tried the sample I was sold! An incredible balance of heat, spice, and dark chocolate sweetness.
