Four Gate Kelvin Collaboration V, Batch 26, & Split Stave
|
Four Gate is typically known for their series of one-off, unique, barrel finished batches with only limited availability, but they've been able to find a way to make a new flagship bourbon with the help from their partners at Kelvin Cooperage. Utilizing their popular Split Stave™ casks produced exclusively for Four Gate, Split Stave by Kelvin is comprised of Kentucky Straight Bourbon finished in casks that alternate between toasted and charred new white oak staves. If rye is more your speed, we also still have some Batch 27, Split Stave French Oak Rye available as well. We've also added some stock of Batch 26 Andalusia Key II. Andalusia Key utilizes batch #9’s popular Spanish Oloroso-Dark Rum barrels sourced through Kelvin Cooperage. These barrels were originally used to age Spanish Oloroso Sherry and then Dark Rum in the Florida Keys. Lastly, Batch 28 is the fifth iteration of the annual signature release, The Kelvin Collaboration. It is a blend of three Kentucky Straight Bourbons, aged 7, 8, and 9 years, finished in Australian Mariposa Sherry and Añejo Dark Rum casks. This batch yielded 4,802 bottles at 117 proof. |
