Blue Note Juke Joint is one of our highest recommended products for folks who are looking for a great value, high proof bourbon. We truly think that a great bottle of Blue Note can give higher proof Buffalo Trace products a run for their money. We've been fortunate to have a history of some great single barrels and private blends. Like last year, we have another delicious three barrel blend for you all.
The nose is soft leather, toffee, and light oak right off the bat. A touch candied herbal in there as well on first crack, but soon dissipates to burnt citrus peel with cherry grenadine.
The palate is vibrant and creamy, lots of toffee and buttery sweetness but huge waves of cherry, spiced cinnamon apples, and charred oak.
The finish is long and spiced with sweet oak, cocoa powder, a whiff of leather and toasted vanilla.
