Mash bill: 75% Corn, 15% Soft Red Winter Wheat and 10% Malt
Tasting Notes: A rich and layered nose of milk chocolate covered raisins, sweet maple, toasted oak and a gentle kiss of cinnamon and clove. Bold and chewy on the palate, waves of maple and vanilla are woven between sweet oak, toasted coconut, creme brulee, candied walnuts, and sweet baking spices. The finish is loaded with caramel, toffee, and sweet maple syrup balanced by a gentle dose of cinnamon and oak. The perfect bourbon for these cool spring nights, or maybe even breakfast.
About this product: Our most decadent dram returns! Whiskey Acres Maple Syrup Cask Finished Bourbon is back, and our largest release to date. This year's batch was a blend of 8 barrels and clocks in at 117.4 proof. As always, our straight bourbon blend rests an additional 12 months at minimum in barrels from our friends at Funk's Grove and Sugar Hill Sugar Bush, with a few of the barrels this year seeing up to an additional17 months.
