Tumblin' Dice Heavy Rye Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel #84 | 117.9 Proof - Selected by Seelbach's

Regular price $64.99 Sale

Age: 6-Years 3-Months

Mash Bill: 60/36/4 Corn/Rye/Malted Barley

Distiller: MGP

Proof: 117.90

Barrel Number: 84

Bottle Count: 204 bottles

Tasting Notes: The nose is bright cherry to big red chewing gum. Excellent balance of some sweetness to the spiciness of the high rye mash bill. This all moves to a caramel red apple on the palate. Then there are notes on cinnamon bark and fresh cracked black pepper. Lots of spice and oak on the finish. This whiskey packs a punch.

About:

At Proof & Wood Ventures, Inc., we invest in and develop spirits brands, and age our own spirits. Our core business is sourcing and bottling fine American whiskies, but we also import other high-quality spirits from around the world that were not available in the US previously. Founder Dave Schmier is delighted to be able to create both cocktail-friendly bottlings for value-focused bartenders and high-end collectors’ editions for connoisseurs.

Our name comes from the two things we control as a blender and finisher of fine spirits, and the two things that are incredibly important to any spirit’s flavor: the proof it’s bottled at, and the wood of the barrel we age it in.

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
