Tamworth Distilling Art in the Age Strawberry Rhubarb Cordial

The summer season has us thinking of the local harvest and bounty surrounding us. Taking a note from the art of winemaking, we pressed fresh local strawberries and rhubarb in a wine press to extract the juice from the crushed fruit. We then used the juice to proof down a blend of our Neutral Grain Spirit and barrel-aged Neutral Grain Spirit to impart base notes of vanilla and caramel. Our Art In The Age Strawberry Rhubarb Cordial contains fresh pressed strawberry juice, rhubarb juice, and lime distillate reminiscent of grandma’s strawberry rhubarb preserves. The aroma off the top has hints of the woodiness of limes, followed by the extreme juiciness of the strawberries and a hint of rhubarb.
