Tasting Notes: The rye provides a warm, pleasing opening as loads of spice-influenced scents greet you. Baking spices rise up, along with powdered cinnamon. Toasted oak and faint rye bread join the fray, while creamy caramel resides faintly in the background. Rye spice leads the way along with cinnamon apple turnovers and white peppercorn. Toasted oak and leather join in to provide a grounding, dry base to rest on; however, the spice is the star of the show. Rye spice and bold cinnamon spice rush forward during the finish, pushing back on dry vanilla bean, oak, and faint leather.
