Tasting Notes: Nose: Ripe plums, cacao powder, tobacco, cooked apples, caramel, hints of pepper. The palate is raisins, dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Lots of pepper and roasted cocoa beans on the finish.
About Starlight: Starlight Distillery is a family-owned distillery in Starlight, IN. The distillery started out as a family farm in 1940. It's had multiple evolutions over the years. In 1978, the Huber's started their winery. Then in 2000 the Huber's took the next step and received approval to open the distillery. Starlight is farm-focused and produces many single-origin products. I think they're the only distillery I know that is a working farm, orchard, market, tourist destination, winery, banquet hall, and distillery!
