Seelbach’s Private Reserve Wheated Straight Kentucky Bourbon Batch 002

Regular price $49.99 Sale

Wheated Straight Kentucky Bourbon

Proof: 107 proof

Age: Blend of 7-Year 3-month & 5-Years 1-months

Mash Bill: 70/21/9 Corn/Wheat/Malted Barley

Tasting Notes: Roasted peaches drizzled with caramel and topped with fresh whipped cream. These notes set the tone for this rich and inviting whiskey. The profile mixes sweetness and spice. It balances smooth, wheated bourbon with a touch of heat for structure. On the palate, you'll taste toffee-covered dried cherries. They mix well with soft caramel and a hint of cinnamon. As it evolves, layers of baking spice and toasted pecans appear. They add warmth and complexity. The finish brings everything together. It has hints of strawberry preserves, vanilla bean ice cream. Then a last touch of buttery toffee and toasted almonds.

The Story: Seelbach's is dedicated to 'unlocking craft spirits.' As a bespoke independent bottler, we chase what we love. An affordable wheated bourbon is what sparked our passion for the bourbon community. It also started our journey in bourbon media through an imitable blend (way back in 2013). We're thrilled to bring our own spin on a bourbon cult classic. Enjoy!

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
