About the Product: Roulaison's Barrel Aged Reserve is left to mature for over three year's time in casks which have originally held bourbon, rye, and wheat whiskies. The rum is placed into casks at the pre-prohibition maximum of 110 proof to extract less bitter oak tannin and to mature with much more complexity. Each barrel is individually sampled for readiness and blended into small batches of 8-10 barrels, which means this rum is perfect for sipping neat, or in any cocktail asking for a fine aged rum.
