These rum casks were originally used to age a combination of 3 Caribbean rums from Barbados. The rums vary in age from 3-14 years old. They are produced by small distilleries from all over the Island. They were then blended in Holland by E&A Scheer, a master blending company that is over 300 years old.

Once Red Line receives the freshly emptied barrels they fill them with a hand selected single barrel of Red Line Bourbon. These barrels are selected based on flavor and profile. With the sweetness from the rum barrels, Red Line identifies bourbon barrels with a spicier profile to create balance. Barrels are then sampled until Red Line feels they've hit the perfect balance. There's no specific timing. Everything is done by taste and profile!
