About: M11 releases 11 year old Straight Rye Whiskey, exploring flavors on a case by case basis. Proof & Precedent announced today the release of the inaugural M11, a 11 year old Straight Rye Whiskey. 

This ultra-premium, limited edition, micro-batch blend is comprised of exacting portions from four barrels of rye whiskey distilled in Illinois Spring 2015, barreled in specialty cooperage char #3, then rested for many years in Bardstown, KY.

Pulled from the archives in 2026 to set a new precedent. Chief Blender, Marcus Niemann, assembled the M11 blend with a decisive verdict approved unanimously by the panel.

“To assemble the M11 batch, the blend was assembled in one of the original barrels and rested for another month. These techniques were used to exhibit the exquisite complexity and cohesiveness of these rare archived barrels.” Said Marcus Niemann.
