Herbal, root beer hard candies, anise, dark cherry, charred orange peel, and deep oak. 

The finish is long, deep, spiced and trailing full of herbal candies, leather, chocolate, and toasted sugar.

Usually every Private Select batch is a new and exclusive blend of three different bourbon mash bills... but you'll note the recipe we have today doesn't include rye or wheat, but is a 10 year old 99% corn recipe... This is the rare occasion where we found a single barrel we loved and decided not to blend anything else in.
