Old Sport Single Barrel 116.8 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Seelbach's-1

Tasting Notes: The nose is elegant and nuanced. Sweet oak, soft peach skin, and caramel malt lead into aromatic cigar box and charred oak, but everything stays subtle and layered.

The palate is well textured, beginning with sweet oak and moving into buttery tannins, almost as if it were wine-finished. Brown sugar and chocolate-covered orange steal the show, while raspberry-infused milk chocolate and freshly torched crème brûlée linger on. The spice is perfectly balanced with the pour, adding even more texture.

The finish is rich and deep, turning toward lightly smoked black tea before moving into dried cherry, cranberry, and plum, all carried through a long, coating, semi-dry chocolatey oak finish.
