This listing does not come with a box; there is another listing that comes with a box but only has a small number remaining.

The long-awaited second and final release from this legendary barrel. After the initial 16-year aging process that produced the first exquisite bottling, the remaining precious whiskey has been allowed to mature for two more years in the same cask.

This extended slumber has bestowed newfound depth and complexity upon an already extraordinary spirit. The corn-rich mash bill has concentrated its flavors even further, marrying the influences of both American and French oak into an immensely layered drinking experience. Notes of pipe tobacco, leather, dark chocolate and black walnut mingle with hints of orchard fruit, baking spices and a delicate underpinning of vanilla cream.

Bottled straight from the barrel at cask strength, this limited, exclusive offering is (believed to be between 100-102 proof), allowing its robust flavors to shine. Approximately 250 bottled are believed to remain in the barrel and will be available for this closing release, a finale paradoxically bursting with flavor yet bearing an elegance that can only come from deep maturation over nearly two decades. An heirloom whiskey in the truest sense, it encapsulates the artistry and patience that are the hallmarks of the bourbon craft.
