Tasting Notes: The nose on this is to die for. Rich and smoked yet sugary and inviting, it reminds me of a rum cocktail initially with big cane sugar sweetness and robust cherry candies, followed by fresh espresso, oiled leather and toasted oak.
The palate could convince you it was hazmat. Deep and rich brandied cherries with a velvety mouthfeel and toasted oak. It’s thick, gripping, and almost impossible to stop revisiting.
The finish is well coating and long lasting - there’s a heavy milk chocolate syrup mixed with well aged oak that, again, along with its deep fruitiness gives me George T Stagg vibes.
