Hints of chocolate, vanilla, blackberry and raspberry, maple and oak provides for an enjoyable start to this bourbon.
Rich notes of caramel, chocolate with spices and some sweet oak wood. Tasted with a dried cranberry brought out notes of vanilla. The pecan conveyed fruit and chocolate.
Long and smooth with toasted vanilla and spice. The dried cranberry brought out the oak and spice. The pecan made the finish very long with spice, oak and chocolate. It has a true Beat Navy finish!
About the product: “Beginning as fully matured Maker’s Mark at cask strength, Private Selection is created by adding 10 custom wood finishing staves to each barrel.
